If you see someone in the middle of doing a job you could/should have done (like taking out the rubbish) don’t offer to do it, just say thank you.

  1. Say thank you and then do another chore that person was going to do as a way to show your gratitude. That way your thank you doesn’t feel empty or lead to built up resentment.

If you are having a difficult time doing specific chores, communicate that with your roommate or partner and find another way of doing things. They would much rather you do something consistently and well than something half assed half the time.

  2. I try to get things done in my life so someone else doesn’t have to in theirs. Though the fact we’re all here stuck in every specific present moment together is still kind of messing with me.

Lift up the lives of others when able, the purpose of this reality is to perpetuate love, let your deeds become carbon.

  3. if you were in my old company you would put them down for doing that job from now on.. such a lazy bunch of c’s I stopped doing anything for anyone but a select few good eggs

  4. Why should I thank somebody for doing something I was and wanted to do, they are not helping and I did not ask them to do it.

Whenever you get an address for someone, add it to their contact info on your phone. You never know when you’ll need it again and saves you from having to ask someone more than once.

If you are going to send someone home with leftovers don’t do this!
